Easter Fun

Colouring Eggs, making my mom's famous potatoe salad and decorating the house in pretty pastel colours are just a few of my favourite things during Easter.

It is just such a fun holiday and the best part is we know that Spring and warm weather are just around the corner. Whether you celebrate for religious reasons or for any other reason, Easter is always a perfect excuse for an event.

Below are some super fun Easter ideas for the holiday, thanks to Pinterest (yes I am obsessed)

10 Useful Event Tools

I recently came across this wonderful blog by the name of Event Manager Blog and was hugely impressed. Julius Solaris, really knows what he is talking about.

He shared a super helpful article on the top 10 Useful Event Tools You Probably Missed. To read the article, click here.

I highly recommend checking each of those out, they really are interesting and exceptionally useful.

I want to be your friend too!

My favourite and number one on the list is Slide Dog. It helps you seamlessly present all your files without anyone seeing your computer desktop during a meeting. Super easy. Click here for the intro video on the
website.

Fun Center Pieces

An essential to every table during virtually any event is the Center Piece. It sometimes causes a bit more stress than it should, mostly because it needs to be the right size, not too large (we do not want to block the person across the table) not too small (we do want it to stand out and make a statement). The center piece also has to tie the event theme together nicely and every so often remind your guests exactly what the theme is, just in case they forget ;)

Below are some really fun and creative center pieces that are the perfect size and tie in the event theme perfectly.

Can you guess the theme for each? Which one is your favourite?

What a perfect idea for a ladies night, or really any intimate occasions. If you have a larger backyard or garden, this would be super easy to set up, even a few lawn chairs and pillows would work, or if you really are on a budget, a fluffy blanket would be perfect, its a pick-nick under the stars.

What would be your favourite movie to watch during a warm night?

DIY - Paper Roll Art

Its time for a quick and fun DIY!
Lately I have been all for cheap and chic! I have seen many paper roll art, so I have decided to try one for my own. Its super simple and fast to do. You can go as crazy or as tame as you want. Its great for hanging and can be transformed for any theme and colour.
Here we go:

Materials: Scissors, Super glue or glue gun (I used super glue), toilet paper rolls, your imagination

Step 1: Gather as many toilet paper rolls as you like and cut them about 2 cm wide.

Step 2: Arrange in any pattern you wish. You can make pretty flower shapes like me if you like.

Step 3: Glue all you pieces together and VOILA! Here is one of mine during Halloween.

What do you think?! Would love to see what amazing creations you can come up with.
